Lexmark X7675 Professional
For a $200 printer, the new Lexmark X7675 Professional model will give home users and office professionals as well, an easy-to-use tool to fax documents, scan text and photos and print media. The Lexmark X7675 Professional is definitely a device which clearly delivers on its promise to both streamline the initial setup process as well as to establish a Wi-Fi connection with your wireless router without much of a headache, thanks to the new onscreen instructions. Of course, it would seem like the Lexmark X7675 Professional is a dream come true were it not for its very long printing time; but don’t get me wrong, once the printer does decide to spit out the documents you requested minutes ago, they are practically of an impeccable quality, since they are clear and blemish-free.
The other issue we have mentioned in our cons section was the slight faulty choice of design for the paper tray, but some of you will either learn to get passed it or won’t even notice it, since the printer does get “straight-A’s” in all the other categories, from my point of view. This is the type of printer that will give you straightforward functionality, as well as bonuses such as an intuitive control panel and an OCR scanning software; all these things give us the reason to recommend the Lexmark X7675 Professional as a solid device.

Lexmark X7675 Professional Design and Features
Of course, the design is a conservative one, since Lexmark opted for an attractive combo of black finish with silver accents for the side paneling; the corners and edges are rounded, thus giving the Lexmark X7675 Professional a very original yet clean look. The new model has a different take on the chassis design as well, so the new Lexmark X7675 Professional is definitely a road-opener. We measured the printer’s dimensions as being: 8-inches high by 19-inches wide by 14-inches deep and weighing only 19 pounds, thus being very easy to unplug and transport around you office or home at all times. You’ll find the front of the printer to be quite basic, were it not for its media card-reader placed on the right side which will offer you support for: that supports PictBridge USB, MD, SD, MS, xD, MMC and CF cards; one other element which is not so very common, is the center control panel which will fold on a hinge according to an adjustable viewing angle of your choice.
Pros
For the Lexmark X7675 Prom we found that the Wi-Fi setup was absolutely painless, unlike with other printers; also, for a better user-friendly interface, Lexmark offers an easy-to-use onscreen controls pack; the output quality was excellent; and last but not least, the warranty was excellent: offered for a five-year period.
Cons
Unfortunately, the Lexmark X7675 Pro offered a very slow printing speed during our performance tests, so should you decide to buy it, you are required to have patience; another minus for this model was the poorly designed output tray; and finally, the only other problem with this model is the low-capacity auto-document feeder.
Review Conclusions
If you can let aside the few design hang-ups and the slower output speed, then you can definitely consider the Lexmark X7675 Professional a bit above some of the other multifunctional printers on the market. It offers easy-to-set-up wireless connectivity, excellent quality prints and a very generous five-year warranty which practically catapulted the printer at the top of our list of favorites.
